Special meeting of Committee. Controversy with Mr Cambridge respecting weir at Whitminster Mill. Proprietors of Navigation not subject to any repairs.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Thursday the 2^nd of Octo^r 1800
Present: Rev^d Will^m Ellis, Benj^m Grazebrooke, Rev^d Jos^h Colborne, Jos^h Grazebrooke, Sam^l Wathen, Rowles Scudamore, Nath^l Wathen, Nath^l Jones.
The Committee having again fully considered the Matter of Controversy with M^r Cambridge respecting the Weir at Whitminster mill, are of Opinion that the Proprietors of the Navigation are not subject to any repairs of the same. The Committee request M^r J I Wathen will wait on M^r Cambridge and inform him of their determination.
