Wall at Framilode begun but insufficient progress for inspection.
Overseer of parish of Kinlet, Salop agreed to allow widow of John Share 8s per week. To be paid 3s per week in addition till next meeting.
John Jones on trial for month as lock keeper in room of John Share. Wages 11s per week and house room.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Monday the 10^th of Nov^r 1800
Present: Sam^l Wathen, Jn^o Allaway, Rev^d W^m Ellis, Jos^h Grazebrooke, Rev^d Jos^h Colborne, Rowles Scudamore, Benj^n Grazebrook, Ew^d Wood.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order respecting the Warehouse at Bristol Road.
Our Clerk reported that the Wall at Framiload has been begun, but that sufficient progress has not been made in it for the Committee to inspect it. Our Clerk also reported that the Overseer of the Parish of Kinlate, Salop, had agreed to allow the Widow of our late Servant Jn^o Share 8^S per Week. Resolved that she be paid 3^s per Week in addition till our next Meeting.
Jn^o Jones having offered to serve the Company as Lock keeper in the room of the late Jn^o Share, Resolved that he do come upon Trial for the next Month beginning Monday the 17^th Ins^t at the Wages of 11^s per Week and house room.
Adjourned this Meeting to Monday the 22^nd of December next at 3 o Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
