At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on board the Companys Barge on Tuesday the 2^nd of June 1801
Present: Sam^l Wathen, Joseph Grazebrook, Rev^d W^m Ellis, Nath^l Wathen, Rev^d J Colborne, Ew^d Wood, Benj^n Grazebrooke, Nath^l Jones, Jn^o Allaway.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continues the Order respecting the Warehouse at Bristol Road. Also for the Weekly pay of 3^s to Martha Share till net next Meeting.
M^r Joseh Grazebrook attended on behalf of Sam^l Skey of Spring Grove near Bewdley Esq^r and made out his claim to five Shares in the Stroudwater Navigation N^o 2, 11, 12, 177, 178 late the Property of Samuel Skey of Bewdley deceased Fatehr of the above named Sam^l Skey, by producing the Probate of the Will of the late Sam^l Skey bearing date the 22^nd of July 1779 and duly proved in the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury 6^th June 1800, whereby the said Sam^l Skey is appointed Executor and his Claim is hereby admitted.
It appearing that the Feeder at Ebley is in a decayed State, Ordered that the same be repaired as soon as possible with Stone. Also that as much of the Brick Work of the Culvert at Ebley as is decayed be taken down and repaired with Stone.
The Committee took a survey of the State of the Wall partly erected at Framiload, and it appearing that the proposed height of 9 feet would be insufficient, Ordered that it be made ten feet six inches high.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Wednesday the 22^nd July next at 5 o'Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
