At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Monday the 12^th of April 1802
Present: Samuel Wathen, Jos^h Grazebrooke, Rev^d W^m Ellis, Nath^l Wathen, Rev^d Jos^h Colborne, Nath^l Jones, Benj^n Grazebrooke.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order of the Weekly pa of Martha Share for 6 Weeks.
M^r Joseph Grazebrook attended on behalf of Roger Harris and Rich^d Till, both of the City of London Esq^rs and made out their Claims for two Shares N^o 166, 167 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of John Wilson late of Leadenhall Street, Druggist, Deceased, by producing the Probate of the Will of the said John Wilson, bearing date the 12^th of May 1800 and duly proved in the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 18^th of December 1801, Whereby the said two Shares are bequested to the said Roger Harris & Rich^d Till, and they are likewise appointed Executors to the said Will and their Claims are therefore admitted.
M^r Harris on behalf of Jn^o Caldicott of Rugby in the County of Warwick Esq^r produced the Probate of the Will of the late James Farmer of the County of Middlesex Esq^r deceased, and made out his Claim to one Share N^o 76 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of the said James Farmer, the said Will bearing date the 4^th Dec^r 1798 and duly proved in the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 7^th November 1801, Whereby the said John Caldicott is appointed Executor and his Claim is hereby admitted.
M^r Harris on behalf of Mary Spencer of the City of Bristol, Widdow, produced the Probate of the Will of Martha Hopkins, late of the City of Bristol Spinster Deceased and made out her Claim to two Shares in the Stroudwater Navigation N^o 61, 88 late the property of the said Martha Hopkins, the said Will bearing date the 23^rd July 1801 and duly proved in the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 11^th day of December 1801, Whereby the said Mary Spencer is appointed sole Executrix and her Claim is hereby admitted.
Ordered that a Bill be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred & sixty nine Pounds eleven Shillings & 7^d for the Use of the Navigation.
