Lock gates at Dudbridge to be repaired. Mud below Double Lock to be got out.
House to be erected against end of Lock House at Dudbridge for widow of John Share. To live rent free and take care of locks.
Mr Edward Hill having encroached on ground of Company and injured bridge on canal at Stonehouse, required to pay annual rent of 5 guineas. In default of payment warehouse to be taken down.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on board the Companys Barge on Thursday the 3^d of June 1802
Present: Rev^d Will^m Ellis, Benj^n Grazebrooke, Rev^d Jos^h Colborne, Jos^h Grazebrooke, Jn^o Allaway, Nath^l Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that the Lock Gates at Dudbridge be repaired as soon as possible. Also the mud below the Double Lock be got out this Summer.
Ordered that a House be erected against the end of the Lock House at Dudbridge for the Widdow of Jn^o Share who in consideration of living rent free is to take care of the Locks.
M^r Ew^s Hill having encroached on the ground of the Company and having injured the Bridge on the Canal situated next to Stonehouse Church, Ordered that our Clerk do wait upon him with a written Notice requiring him to pay an Annual Rent of Five Guineas to commence from the first of July next, and in default of such payment at the end of the year on the rent being demanded, that the Warehouse shall be taken down by the Companys servants.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 29^th of July next at 5 o'Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
