Mr Beard to purchase some oak timber to cost of £150 to £200, and two or three hundred feet of deal baulk timber.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on board the Companys Barge on Wednesday the 8^th of June 1803
Present: Sam^l Wathen, Henry Burgh, Rev^d Will^m Ellis, Jn^o Allaway, Rev^d Jos^h Colborne, Nath^l Wathen, Rev^d Jos^h Jones, Jos^h Grazebrooke, Benj^n Grazebrooke, Rowles Scudamore.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that the following repairs of the Navigation be put forward as soon as possible, Viz: The Gates at Dudbridge to be repaired. The mud in that part of the Stonehouse Level to be thrown out. The Moorstreet Bridge, Whitminster, and Framiload Lock to be repaired. Ordered that W^m Beard do agree for some Oak Timber to the amount of 150^£ to 200^£, Also for two or three Hundred feet of Deal Balk Timbers.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Wednesday the 27^th of July next at 5 o Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
