Lancelot Chambers claimed shares nos.160,161,164,165, Christopher Chambers having died intestate.
£100 to be paid to Edward Bradfeild on account of vessel being built for conveyance of Newport coal.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 7^th of September 1803
Present: Rev^d W Ellis, Jn^o Allaway, Nath^l Wathen, Jos^h Grazebrook, Benj^n Grazebrook, Rowles Scudamore.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the orders of the last Meeting.
M^r Joseph Grazebrook attended on behalf of Lancellot Chambers of the City of London Esq^r and made out his Claim to four Shares M6o 160, 161,164,165 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the property of Christopher Chambers last of Mincing Lane in the City of London Esq^r deceased by producing Letters of Administration of the Goods, & Chattles and Credits of the said Christopher Chambers (who died Intestate) granted on the 8^th July 1803 by the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury unto the said Lancellot Chamber, who is entitled to the said Shares and the said Claim is hereby admitted.
Ordered that One Hundred Pounds be paid E^wd Bradfield on account of the Vessel that is now building for conveyance of Newport Coals.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Monday the 10^th of Octo^r next at 3 o'Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
