County of Gloucester Bank at Stroud to be appointed as treasurer to company. They will allow 2½% interest on average balance held.
When the new swing bridge near Stonehouse Church was constructed, the approaches should be raised as the proposed bridge is much above the height of the old bridge.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Monday the 21st day of June 1847
Present: M^r G H A Beard, M^r Fred^k Eycott, Will^m Fryer, Rich^d Martin, Dan Watts, J H Warman, Hen^s Sikes, Jn^o W Woods, Jn^o Holbrow Chairman.
The County of Glocester Banking Company at Stroud having agreed to the terms proposed to them with respect to interest at 2½ per Ct being allowed on the average balance in their hands,
Resolved that they be and are hereby appointed Treasurers to this Company.
A Letter was read from M^r Nath S Marling stating that when the new Bridge was erected near Stonehouse Church, it was agreed by M^r Sherwood that both approaches should be raised in consequence of the said bridge being now much above the height of the old bridge.
Ordered that M^r Driver do carry the same into effect.
Ordered that M^r Hawker do answer M^r N S Marlings letter accordingly.
