General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage since 1 April £3213 7s 10d. After wages, etc, £2539 10s 8d remains. Dividend of £12 10s declared.
Mr Biddle to build a warehouse at Wallbridge. Cost to Company not to exceed £400.
At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 23rd day of October 1850

The Minutes of the last General Assembly were read and confirmed.
The several Books and Accounts were produced as directed by the Act of Parliament and were examined and passed.
It appears that the Sum of 3213^3..7^S,,10^d has been received for Tonnage, etc, from the 1st day of April to the 1st day of October 1850 a part of which has been applied towards the payment of Wages Disbursements, etc, and that there remains in the Treasurers hands after paying the last Dividend the sum of £2539..10..8.
Ordered that a Dividend of £12..10 on each Share be declared payable on the 1st day of November next.
M^r Biddle attended and proposed that a Warehouse should be built by him at the Company's Cost for his use at Wallbridge at an Expense not exceeding £400 to be repaid to him in half yearly installments out of his Tonnage.
Ordered that the Proposal be agreed and that it be referred to M^r Sikes, M^r Fisher, M^r Fryer & M^r Croome to settle the Terms of an Agreement with M^r Biddle thereon and that M^r Biddle has permission to commence the building as soon as the Agreement is signed.
