At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 18th day of December 1850
Present: M^r Jn^o H Warman, M^r Will^m Fryer Chairman, Fred^k Eycott, Rich^d Martin, Geo H^y Aug^t Beard, Cha^s H Fisher, Tho^s C Croome.
Present
Resolved that the sum of Two pounds be given to the Workmen engaged on building the new Warehouse in lieu of the usual House rearing dinner.
M^r Hawker produced a letter from M^r Clegram acknowledging the receipt of a Copy of the Resolutions of the last Meeting relative to the duties of the Lock Keeper at the Junction with the Gloucester and Berkeley Canal and approving of the same.
M^r Hawker also reported that Nathaniel Hamlet had entered on his duties and that he had given him a copy of the Resolutions detailing the duties he is to perform.
M^r Hawker reported that he had paid Rob^t Miles Six pounds for 24 Weeks Wages prior to his quitting the Junction which payment was approved and adopted.
