Resolved that payment be required from all millers for excess of flour exported over wheat imported.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wedneday the 14^th day of Octr 1855
Present: M^r Rich^d Martin Chairman, M^r C Hawker, C Hooper, J H Warman, W^m Fryer, F Warman, H^y Harris, G H A Beard.
The various Accounts Books & Vouchers signed by M^r Cooper the Auditor & certified to be correct were produced and examined with the exception of the Sum of £6..4..0 to be accounted for.
The Treasurer's Book was produced examined & signed.
The observations of various Millers on the subject of the charge made for the quantity of flour exported over & above the quantity of Wheat imported were taken into consideration and it was resolved that payment be required from the several Parties of the tonnage in respect of the quantity of flour exported over & above the quantity of Wheat imported by them.
