Mr Henderson proposed to make a reduction of 6d a ton on Norchard coal and asked for a reduced tonnage rate. No alteration to be made in rates.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 25^th day of February 1857
Present: M^r Cha^s Hawker, M^r G H A Beard Chairman, W^r Fryer, T C Croome, F Eycott, C Hooper, J H Warman, N S Marling.
This Meeting was called to consider a letter from M^r Henderson to M^r Ja^s Nurse proposing to make a reduction of 6^d per Ton on Norchard coal and asking for a reduction of the Tonnages on this Navigation.
Resolved that no alteration be made to the present rates.
