At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 22^d day of April 1857
Present: M^r C Hawker, M^r W^m Fryer Chairman, M^r Fred^k Eycott, M^r H^y Harris, M^r J H Warman, M^r T C Croome, M^r N S Marling.
The various Accounts Books and Vouchers signed by M^r Cooper the Auditor and certified to be correct were produced and examined.
The Treasurer's Book was produced examined and signed.
A claim having been made by George Williams for the Cost of a New Grate affixed in the Dwelling house in his occupation at Framilode, Resolved that he be allowed the Sum of One pound, the Grate to be considered as the property of the Company, it being erected in lieu of an old one.
Resolved that a gratuity of Two pounds be allowed to M^r Thomas Habgood for his exertions on behalf of the company.
