At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 18^th day of November 1857
Present: M^r F Eycott, M^r H^y Harris Chairman, J H Warman, G H A Beard, C Hawker, N S Marling, W^m Fryer, T C Croome.
A Statement that M^r George Nurse had omitted to give an account of a cargo of timber carried from M^r Webb's Wharf in the Ellen was considered and M^r Driver was instructed to enquire of M^r Webb and report what further evidence could be obtained.
At was stated that M^r George Williams had given a false account of a cargo of Road Stone carried in the Ann.
Ordered that M^r Williams be charged the additional tonnage and informed that the Penalty will be inforced if future irregularities are discovered.
Ordered that the following Bills and Account be paid viz:
