At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 25^th day of October 1859
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r H H Wilton Chairman, C Hooper, N S Marling, C Hawker, G H A Beard, H Harris.
The various Accounts Books and Vouchers signed by M^r Cooper the Auditor & certified to be correct were produced and examined.
The Treasuer's Book was produced examined & signed.
M^r Thomas Myers Croome of Cainscross in the County of Gloucester attended on behalf of Mary Anne Croome of Cainscross in the County of Gloucester and of himself .... and made out their Claims as Executors under the Will of hte late Thomas Clutterbuck Croome to Two Shares N^os 46 & 81 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation lately belonging to & now standing in the name of the said T C Croome deceased in the books of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said T C Croome deceased bearing date the 9^th day of February 1856 & proved in the principal Registry of her Majesty's Court of Probate with two Codicils on the 9^th day of Sep^r 1859 and also producing the said Tickets or Titles to the said Shares & the claim was admitted accordingly & new Tickets ordered to be made out.
Ordered that a Special General Meeting of the Company be held on the 1^st day of November at 12 o'Clock for the purpose of selecting a Member of the Committee in place of the late M^r Croome and that the Clerk give notice accordingly.
Ordered that the following Bill be paid viz:
