Mr Eycott, Mr Beard, Mr Fisher reported on Mr Sim’s encroachments. Valve to be restored and fence erected by Mr Sims removed. Culvert to be restored to original position, manhole to be made at spot to admit access to valve and culvert at all times. Fence to be replaced.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 18^th day of November 1862
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r T M Croome Chairman, F Eycott, C H Fisher, G H A Beard, C Hawker, H Harris.
M^r Eycott M^r Beard and M^r Fisher reported that they had attended at Framilode and inspected the spot where the incroachment alluded to in the Minutes of the last Committee had taken place and had come to the conclusion that the Valve ought to be restored as it was before the Culvert was lengthened and the fence erected by M^R Sims removed.
M^r Driver, M^r Burbidge, M^r Hyett and M^r Oliver Cam were called in and after hearing their respective statements as to the way in which the incroachment had begun. It was ordered that so much of the Culvert which M^r Sims had added to Culvert belonging to the Company as is necessary to restore the Culver to its original position and to replace the Valve should be removed and a manhole made on the spot to admit of access to the Valve and Culver at all times for the purpose of repair or otherwise and that M^r Eycott M^r Beard and M^r Fisher attend again on the spot to meet M^r Sims and determine where the Fence should be placed.
