General Half Yearly Meeting.
Tonnage since 1 October 1862 £2698 3s 11d. After wages, etc, £1912 5s 5d profit. Dividend of £9 10s declared.
Meeting adjourned to the 25 April. Notice to be put into the Gloucester and Stroud Journals informing proprietors that meeting will discuss opposition to Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway.
At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 21^st day of April 1863

The Minutes of the Committee since the last General Assembly were read approved and confirmed.
The several Books were produced as directed by the Act of Parliament and were examined and passed.
It appears that the sum of £2698..3..11 has been received for Tonnage from the 1^st day of October 1862 to the 1^st day of April 1863 part of which has been applied towards the payment of Wages disbursements, etc, there remains in the hands of the Treasurer after paying the last Dividend the sum of £1912..5..5.
Ordered that a Dividend of £9..10..- on each Share be declared payable on the 1^st day of May next.
Ordered that the Committee for the Ensuing Year do consist of Ten Members and the following Gentlemen were elected Members of the Committee:
M^r Beard, M^r Hooper, M^r Croome, M^r Warman, M^r Eycott, M^r Wilton, M^r Harris, M^r C H Fisher, M^r Hawker, M^r T Marling.
Resolved that this Meeting be adjourned to Saturday the 25^th Instant at 2 o;Clock and that Notice of such adjournment be advertized in the Gloucester Journal and Chronical and the Stroud Journal and that a Circular be sent to all the Shareholders informing them of the proposed meeting and the subject to be discussed, namely the proposal of the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway C^o with reference to Stonehouse Wharf, and the continuance or withdrawal of of further opposition to the Bill, and requesting their attendance.
