Summary

Mr Taunton stated that resolution of 21 May 1861 should be put into operation from 25 March. and reduction named extended to wharf at Thames Head. Agreed. Same checks against fraud to be enforced.
Messrs. Marling & Co.’s estimate for pen at Ryeford £143 1s 5d, excluding cost of road to it and floor of it.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Saturday the 26^th day of March 1864
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r C Hooper Chairman, F Eycott, G H A Beard, J T Fisher J^r, W W Kearsey, T M Croome.
Referring to the Resolution passed at the Committee Meeting held on May 21^st 1861 M^r Taunton attended and stated that the said Resolution should be put in operation from the 25^th Ins't and stated that the reduction named in the said Resolution should be extended to the Wharf at Thames Head and the same was agreed to accordingly and the same checks against fraud were ordered to be enforced.
In reference to the proposed Pen at Ryeford Mess^rs Marling & C^o estimate for making the same was produced amounting to £143..11..5 exclusive of the cost of making the road to the same and the floor thereof.
