Special General Meeting.
Mr William Coley elected as Auditor to Company.
A A Wilton elected member of Committee.
Mr J Burbridge to be notified that services not required after 25 March next and to give up possession of house and premises he now occupies. His successor must not keep shop or engage in any other business or occupation.
At a Special General Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 13^th day of December 1864 for the purpose of electing an Auditor in place of M^r Cooper resigned and also for electing a Member of the Committee and for general business
Present: M^r F Eycott, T M Croome, J H Warman, W W Kearsey, C H Fisher, J T Fisher, C Hooper, S^l Phipps, G H A Beard, E C Little, R^d Lacey, S S Marling, T S Thornton.
M^r E C Little in the Chair.
M^r S S Marling proposed & Capt^n C H Fisher seconded M^r W^m Coley as Auditor to the Company.
M^r Coley was duly elected.
Capt^n Fisher proposed & M^R G H A Beard seconded that H H Wilton Esq^r be elected a Member of the Committee. H H Wilton Esq^r was unanimously elected.
It was unanimously resolved that notice be given to M^r J Burbidge that his services will not be required after the 25^th of March next & that he will then be required to give up possession of the house and premises that he now occupies.
It was further resolved that in the appointment of M^r Burbidge's successor it should be one of the terms that he should not keep a shop or engage in any other business or occupation.
