At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 16^th day of January 1866
Present: M^r J H Warman, T M Croome Chairman, G H A Beard, W W Kearsey, C H Fisher, J T Fisher.
Resolved that Mess^rs Martin and Leslie be instructed to prepare a Draft Petition against the The Thame and Severn Railway Bill to be submitted to the next Committee Meeting.
M^r Peyton having reported that Jos^h Warren Master of the Boat Gratitude, J Knight Owner, broke the Lock and Chain off the Swing Bridge at Framilode on January 3^d last,
Ordered that Jos^h Warren be fined £1..0..0 or the full Penalty of £5..0..0 be enforced and that M^r Knight his Master be also written to.
Ordered that 2^£..0^s..0^d be given to the Stroud Coal Fund.
