At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 15^th day of May 1866
Present: M^r C Hawker, T M Croome Chairman, F S Thornton, W W Kearsey, J H Warman, J C Hallewell, S Phipps, G H A Beard, T Marling, J T Fisher.
The Draft Petition to the House of Lords against the Thames and Severn Railway Bill was read approved and settled.
M^r S^y Biddell attended and asked permission to erect a Stable and Cart House against the garden wall of the Company's House at Wallbridge. It was resolved that such permission be given on an Annual Tenantcy of 1^s/ Rental.
Ordered that the new Bridge be put in at Hilly Orchard and that there be a stoppage of one day if requisite.
