Summary

Half Yearly General Meeting. Tonnage £2458 2s 2d. Balance after wages, etc, £2290 16s 6d. Dividend of £10 declared.
The Committee reports that they have made several applications to the Thames & Severn Canal Company respecting the proposed aqueduct at Wallbridge and that they are now engaged in correspondence with the proprietors of that Canal Company on the subject. Ordered that the committee do continue this negotiation until the business is completed.
Tonnage on Bristol road stone is fixed at 1s per ton

At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn at Stroud on Tuesday the 9^th of April 1805
Samuel Wathen Esq^r. in the Chair.
The Minutes of the last General Meeting were Read and Confirmed
The several Books and Accounts were produced respecting the Affairs of the Company as directed by the Act of Parliament and Examined and Confirmed.
It appears from the Accounts that the Sum of £2450.. 2^s..2^d has been received for Tonnage from the 9^th of October to this day, a part of which has been applied towards the payment of Wages, Disburstments, etc, there remains in the Treasurers hands after paying the last Dividend the Sum of £2209..16^s..6^d.
Ordered that a Dividend of £10.. on each Share be paid by the Treasurer on the first day of May and that our Clerk do transmitt Circular Letters to all the Proprietors to inform that they may draw upon the Treasurer or apply to him for payment of the same.
The Committee reports that they had made several applications to the Thames and Severn Canal Company respecting the proposed Aqueduct at Walbridge and that they are now engaged in correspondence with the Proprietors of that Canal on the subject. Ordered that the Committee do continue this negotiation in the 'till the business is compleated.
The Committee reported that finding the advance of Tonnage on the Bristol road Stone would(?operate) to a total prohibition of that useful article, they had allowed a draw back or bounty of 1^s per Ton. Their proceeding is hereby approved and confirmed and the Tonnages hereafter to be taken is fixed at 1^s.
The following Gentlemen are appointed a Committee for the ensuing Year Viz:
