Summary

Mr Hicks had been paid. A site for the house on the Island was selected. Building has begun.
Rev John Bull claimed shares nos.190,139,131, will of Mary Bull, his mother.
On the island stood a cottage erected by John Watkins who has a life interest therein, but after his decease the same will become the property of our Company for which reversionary interest the sum of £6 14s 9d has been paid to Mr Hicks. The future property therein is included in the conveyance executed between Mr Hicks and the Company.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Monday the 13^th Ap^l 1807
Present; Sam^l Wathen, Rowles Scudamore, Rev^d Jos^h Colborne, Nath^l Wathen, Benj^n Grazebrooke, Nath^l Jones, Jos^h Grazebrooke, Jn^o Allaway
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Orders of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that Mr Hicks had been paid for the Island according to the Order of the last Meeting and that the Deed of Conveyance had been executed.
Messr^s B & J Grazebrook reported that they had selected a site for the House about to be erected for W^m Beard in the Island purchased of M^r Hicks the building of which is already begun.
The Rv^d Jn^o Bull of the City of Bristol attended and made out his Claim to 3 Shares N 190,130,131 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the property of his Mother, Mary Bull of the said City of Bristol by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Mary Bull dated the 4^th of October 1806 and proved in the Perogation Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury on the 17^th of February 1807 whereby it appears that the said Jn^o Bull is the residuary Legatee and intitled to the said Shares and his claim is hereby admitted.
Ordered that a Bill be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Eighty One Pounds eight Shillings and two pence for the Navigation.
