Annual inspection on board the Company barge.
Bridge near Mr Brown’s Mill to be repaired.
Mr Eycott complained that the swivel bridge to be erected in lieu of the present bridge was higher than he expected and so inconvenient. Another bridge to be constructed near Mr Eycotts Mill not subject to the complaint.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on Board the Companys Barge on Wednesday the 22^nd July 1807
Present: Rev^d J Colborne, Jos^h Grazebrook, Sam^l Wathen, Rowles Scudamore, Nath^l Wathen, Jn^oTyers, Nath Jones, Benj^n Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Orders of the last Meeting.
Ordered that the Bridge situated near M^r Browns Mill be repaired.
M^r Eycott having represented that the Swivel Bridge intended to be erected in lieu of the present old one was of an elevation somewhat higher than he had been given to expect would be of material inconvenience. Resolved that the Bridge prepared be put aside untill one of that sort shall be wanted, and that another Bridge be immediately constructed and erected near M^r Eycotts Mill not subject to the above complaint.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the 24^th of August next at 3 o'Clock in the afternoon at the Committee Room at Walbridge
