Half Yearly General Meeting. Tonnage £1315 9s 7d. Balance after paying wages, etc, £1071 10s 9½d. Dividend of £5 declared.
The Committee unsuccessful in negotiating with the Thames & Severn Committee respecting the culvert at Wallbridge they are directed to take legal measures to bring the matter to a speedy conclusion.
A proposition having been made on the part of some respectable owners of vessels, to purchase, or rent on a long lease, a piece of land at Framilode for the purpose of making a dock. Deferred to the next meeting.
At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the proprieors of the Stroud water Navigation held at the George Inn Stroud on Tuesday the 13^th of October 1807

The Minutes of the last General Meeting were read and Confirmed .The several Books and Accounts were produced respecting the Affars of the Company as directed by the Act of Parliament, examined and Confirmed.
It appears by the Accounts that the Sum of £1315..9^s..7^d has been received from Tonnage from the 14^th of April last to this day, a part of which has been applied towards the payment of Wages, Disbursements etc there remaining in the Treasurers hands after last Dividend and the Sum of £160 for Income Tax the Sum of £1070..10^s..9½^d. Ordered that a Dividend of £5 on each Share be paid by the Treasurer on the 1^st day of November next and that our Clerk do transmit Circular Letters to all the Proprietors to inform them they may draw upon the Treasurer or apply to him for payment of the same.
The Committee having reported that they had not succeeded in their Negotiation with the Thames and Severn Canal Company respecting the Culvert at Walbridge they are hereby directed to take legal measures to bring the matter to a speedy termination as possible.
A proposition having been made on the part of some respected Owners of Vessells to purchase or rent on a long lease a piece of land at Framiload for the purpose of making a Dock. Resolved that the consideration of this proposal be defered 'till the next Half Yearly Meeting and the Committee are directed in the meantime to make such enquiries about it as they may think necessary
