Summary

Repair of the Double Lock completed.
Mr Hicks complained of an injury sustained by the overflowing of the water from the canal into Oldbury Brook and proposed to be at half the expense of pitching that part where the water flows over. William Beard to get it done in a proper manner. Clerk to keep a correct account of expense and apply to Mr Hicks for a moiety of the same.
Leave given to Mr Peter Smith to rebuild the wall on the side of his stable at the corner of the wharf next to the road at Wallbridge. and to move the wall three feet back on the corner to the mouth of the arch. Mr Smith to pay for the stone and one guinea for the ground.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 18^th July 1810
Present: Jos^h Grazebrook, Nath^l Jones, Henry Eycott, Tho^s Holbrow, Rowles Scudamore, Alex^r Townsend.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that the repair of the D'ble Lock is compleated as far as at present appears to be necessary.
M^r Hick having complained of an Injury sustained by the overflowing of the water form the Canal into Oldbury Brook and having proposed to be at half of the expence of pitching that part where the Water flows over,
Ordered that Will^m Beard do get it done in a proper manner and that our Clerk do keep a correct account of the expence, and when compleated to apply to M^r Hicks for a moiety of the same.
M^r Peter Smith having applied for leave to rebuild the Wall on the side of his Stable at the corner of the Wharf next to the Road at Walbridge, and to remove the Wall three feet back in the corner to the mouth of the Arch, Ordered that leave be given him to remove it as above described, the Committee having taken a view of it and do not see any possible inconvenience that can attend it. M^r Smith paying the value of the Stone and One Guinea for the Grounds.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the twenty eighth day of August next at five o'Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
