Summary

Mr Cambridge complaining of the state of the road on top of Kidman’s Bridge it is to be put in a proper state of repair.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room a Walbridge on Monda the 12^th of October 1862
Present: Sir Sam^l Wathen, W^m Stanton, Ja^s Tyers, Jn^o Morgan, Henry Eycott, Tho^s Carruthers, Jos^h Grazebrook, Jn^o Holbrow, Jn^o Snowden.
Read the minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that Owner Tho^s Ball has paid the fine on four Tons of Timber as ordered at the last Meeting. M^r Joseph Grazebrook attended on behalf of Jane Noble and Elizabeth Noble of the City of Bristol Spinsters, and made out their Claims to three Shares, N^0 181, 182, 183 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of their Brother John Padmore Noble of the said City of Bristol Surgeon deceased by producing the Probate of the Will of the said John Padmore Nobel bearing Date 9 Aug^t 1806 and duly proved in the Perogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury 10^th July 1812 whereby the said Jane Noble and Elizabeth Noble are joint Executrixes and their Claim is hereby admitted. Ordered that the Culvert at M^r Hoggs be repaired immediately, also the puddel next M^r Hoggs Hosue. M^r Cambridge having by his Letter of the 3^rd of Sep^t last complaining of the bad state of the road on the top of Tidmans Bridge, Ordered the top of the said Bridge be put in a proper state of reparation.
Ordered that a Bill be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Five Hundred eighty two Pounds fifteen Shillings & five pence half penny for the Use of the Navigation.
