Committee inspected the mudding machine sent by Mr Upton. Mr Price to be requested to inspect it and report.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of Stroud Water Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on the 26 day of Sep^r 1815
Present: John Snowden, P H Fisher, Henry Eycott, Will^m Stanton, John Morgan, Rich^d Miller.
The Committee inspected the Mudding Machine sent by M^r John Upton, but not feeling themselves competent Judges of the merits of the Machine, Ordered that the Clerk do request M^r Price to give his opinion of the Power & goodness of the said machine & report thereon at the next Meeting of the Committee which stands adjourned to Monday the 9^th of October.
