Summary

The house at Framilode to be let to Samuel Lawrence £8 per annum from Michaelmas last. The building adjoining the house to be repaired immediately.
Upon enquiries it appears the character of John Critchley is not satisfactory so his appointment to the Bristol Road Wharf has been rescinded.
As William Hains is superintending the Mudding Machine his wages to be increased to 16s per week.

At a meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge On Monday the 7^th day of October 1816
Present: M^r Scudamore, M^r Tho Holbrow, Rev^d M^r Jones, M^r Stanton, M^r N^l Jones, M^r Morgan, M^r Miller, M^r Eycott. M^r Jn^o Holbrow, M^r Fisher.
Agreed to let the House at Framiload (lately occupied by the Companys Clerk) to Samuel Lawrence at 8^£ per ann to commence from Michaelmas last.
Order'd that the building adjoining the House at Framiload (late Pashley's) be repaired immediately.
It appearing upon enquiring that the Character of John Critchley is not Satisfactory, Resolved that his appointment to the Bristol Road Wharf be rescinded.
In Consequence of Will^m Hain being appointed to superintend the Mudding Machine it is agreed to raise his Wages to sixteen Shillings per week.
