Mud to be removed from the land of Mr Croome and compensation paid to him. The mud thrown on Mrs Hogg's land to be levelled and planted with grass seeds by the labourers of the Company, and compensation paid for damage.
The Commissioners of the Turnpike Road leading from Cainscross to Dudbridge will be allowed to make a drain through the Company’s Wharf to carry water off the road (this is as a matter of favour and can be revoked at any time).
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Monday teh 14^th day of April 1817

Ordered that the Mud be removed from the Lands of M^r Croome & that a compensation be made him for the injury He ma have sustained. Also that the surface of the Mud thrown upon M^rs Hogg's Land be levelled, hoed, & sown with Grass seeds, by the Labourers of the Company, & a compensation made Her for the damage she has sustained.
Ordered that our Clerk do call upon M^r John Hawker & inform him that the Commissioners of the Turnpike Road leading from Cainscross to Dudbridge will be allowed to make a drain through the wall that bounds the Company's Wharf at the latter place, for the purposed of carrying off the water from the said Road, the Commissioners making an acknowledgement, that the same is conceded to them as a matter of favour and liable to be revoked if the Company find it inconvenient.
