At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Friday teh 20^th day of June 1817
Present: Rich^d Miller, The Rev J Jones, P H Fisher, William Stanton, Rowles Scudamore, Thomas Holbrow, John Snowden, John Morgan, Nath^l Jones, George Wathen, Henry Eycott.

The Boat in which the Engine of the mudding machine is fixed being in a state unfit for completing the mudding of the Canal and M^r Miller having offer'd to take the said old Boat and furnish a good Boat, make the same fit for the work and place the Engine therein and to continue with the work therewith on receiving the Sum of twenty five Pounds, & to undertake to complete the mudding of the Whole Canal on the terms of the existing agreement, Ordered that M^r Miller be allowed twenty five Pounds for that purpose on furnishing and completing a good and sufficient Boat for the aforesaid purpose.
