A Complaint was made at the meeting of M^r Miller's omitting to have the name of his Steersman upon the Trow Disney but as it appeared M^r Miller was not aware of the neglect & as it was the Trow's first Voyage after repairs, the Committee agreed to remit the penalty incurred by him.
M^r George Wathen attended on the behalf of William Brooks & William Kimber, Gentlemen, two of the Executors of the last Will & Testament of W^m Tombs of Coates in the County of Gloucester Gentleman deceased and made out their Claim to One Share N^o 117 in the Stroudwater Navigation the property of the said William Tombs by producing the probate of the Will of the said W^m Tombs bearing date the 12^th day of December 1815 and duly proved in the prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 21^st day of July 1817. Whereby it appears that the said William Tombs bequeathed the residue of his Personal Estate to the said W^m Brooks & W^m Kimber and also to W^m Brooks the younger, all of whom He appointed Executors of this said Will, but the same was proved byW^m Brookes & W^m Kimber alone, and their Claim is hereby admitted.
