At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 14^th day of April 1818
Present: John Holbrow, Rowles Scudamore, Rich^d Miller, William Stanton, Tho^s Holbrow, The Rev J Jones, Henry Eycot, George Wathen, P H Fisher, John Snowden.
Read the minutes of the last Meeting.
Examined the Books & Accounts of the Company.
M^r Hawkins of Cainscross attended & offered to let the Company the Warehouse which He intends to build near the Dudbridge Wharf, fitted up (37 feet long by 11 feet 6 inches wide with two floors) at £20 per Annum. Ordered that the same be referred to the General Meeting.
M^rs Hogg of Ebley has written a Letter to the Committee requesting the valuation of Damages done to her Land be left to two Arbitrators. Ordered that the proposal be declined, but that the offer of £25..-..- for the same as already tendered, be repeated.
