Half Yearly General Meeting Tonnage £3087 13s 1d. Balance after wages, etc, £2450 11s 4d. Dividend of £12 declared.

Tonnage on bricks to be lowered to 1s per ton.
Committee to have the power to employ an engineer to inspect the works of the Gloucester & Berkeley Canal, and to take any steps needed to secure the interests of the Company.
A sufficient warehouse is to be built at Dudbridge Wharf.
A crane to be purchased from Mr Thomas Grazebrook for £5.
At a General half Yearly meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Wednesday the 15^th day of April 1818

The minutes of the last General Meeting were read and confirmed.
The several books and accounts were produced respecting the affairs of the Company as directed by Act of Parliament examined and confirmed.
It Appears by the accounts that the sum of £3087..13..1 has been received for Tonnage, etc, from the 8^th of October last to the 11^th Instant; a part of which has been applied towards the payment of wages, disbursments, etc, and there remains in the Treasurers hands after paying the last dividend the Sum of £2450..11..4.
Ordered that a dividend of £12 each Share be paid by the Treasurer on the 1^st day of May next and that our Clerk do transmit circular Letters to all the Proprietors to inform them that they may draw upon the Treasurer or apply to him for payment of the Same.
The following Gentlemen are appointed a Committee for the ensuing Year, VizL
M^r Henry Eycott, P H Fisher, Thomas Holbrow, Rev Jos^h Jones, Nath^l Jones, W W Darke MD, Rowles Scudamore, John Holbrow, Rich^d Miller, John Morgan, John Snowden, Will^m Stanton, George Wathen.
Ordered that the Tonnage on bricks be lowered to One Shilling per Ton.
Ordered that the Committee have the power to employ an Engineer to inspect the works of the Gloster & Berkeley Canal C^o & to take any other steps that they may judge proper in order to secure the interest of the Company.
Ordered that a sufficient Warehouse be build on Dudbridge Wharf.
Ordered that the Crane belonging to M^r Tho Grazebrook at Dudbridge Wharf be purchased of him for five pounds.
