Summary

The shuts and flood gates at Mr Clissolds Mill in a state of disrepair and Sunday water is being completely wasted. A letter to be sent to Mr Clissold asking him to remedy this.
William Hain to inspect the feeding of the canal and report his findings.

At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Thursday the 29^th day of October 1818
Present. R Miller, John Snowden, N Jones, P H Fisher, Tho Holbrow, John Morgan, W Stanton, Geo Wathen.
It having been represented to the Committee that the Shuts & flood Gates at M^r Clissolds Mill are very much out of repair, in consequence of which the Sunday water is wasted, Ordered that Our Clerk wait on M^r Clissold & request him to adopt proper means to prevent such waste.
Ordered that William Hain be appointed to inspect the feeding of the Canal & make an accurate report to the Committee this day Week.
