Ordered that a mortgage be taken of Mr George Knowles for £58 17s 7d due to the Company. He had stood security for John Carefield. George Knowles to pay the mortgage in instalments to the Company.
John Carefield was given 14 days to quit the house he was living in which belonged to the Company.
At a Meeting of the Committee held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 25^th day of May 1819

Examined the books & accounts.
Ordered that a mortgage be take of M^r Geo Knowles (the security for Jn^o Carefield) for £58..17.7 due to the Company from Jn^o Carefield and that the said Geo Knowles be applied to to give the same, in order the better to secure the payment of the said £58..17..7 by the installments which he has proposed to pay the same.
Ordered that our Clerk do give Jn^o Carefield 14 days notice to quit the House He lives in belonging to the Company, and that the said Carefield do quit at that time.
Ordered that this Meeting be adjourn'd to Friday the 4^th day of June next at 8 O'Clock in the Morning at Walbridge.
