Annual inspection on the Company Barge.
The costs of the mortgage from George Knowles for securing the debt due from John Carefield to the Company be paid by the Company and the amount added to the debt and included in the security and that the mortgage be made in the name of Henry Eycott, as Trustee of the Company.
Culvert to be made at the White Bridge for the purpose of feeding the level below at the place where the former culvert was put in.
William Critchley be admitted a weekly tenant of the house, garden and warehouse at Bristol Road wharf at 8s per week and employed as lockkeeper there at wages of 5s per week on his entering into a Bond with good securities at his own costs.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on board the Companys Barge on Friday the 4^th day of June 1819
Present: Rich^d Miller, P H Fisher, D^r Darke, W^m Stanton, Tho Holbrow, H Eycott, Geo Wathen, H Jones, Jn^o Snowden, Jn^o Morgan.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that the costs of the Mortgace form George Knowles (for securing the debt due from John Carefield to the Company) be paid by the Company, and the amound be added to the debt and included in the security; and that the Mortgage be made in the name of Henry Eycott Esq^r (the first Mortgagee) as trustee for the Company.
Ordered that a Culvert be made at the White Bridge (for the purpose of feeding the level below) at the place where the former Culvert was put in.
Ordered that William Critchley be admitted a weekly Tenant of the House and Garden and Warehouse at Bristol Road Wharf at 8 Shillings per Week, and Employed as Lockkeeper there at the Wages of 5 Shillings per Week, on his entering in a Bond with good Securities (at his own costs) conditioned for paying the Rent and due performance of his duty as Lockkeeper and for quitting the Premises on a Months Notice.
