At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 15^th day of February 1820
Present: Rowles Scudamore, D^r Darke, John Snowden, Hen^y Eycott, John Morgan, W^m Stanton, P H Fisher, The Rev M^r James.
Read the minutes of the last Meeting.
Examined the Books & accounts of the Company.
George Hawker attended on the behalf of M^r William Beale of Hyde Court in the Parish of Minchinhampton in the County of Gloucester and Executor of Hannah Beale late of Hyde Court in the Parish of Minchinhampton in the said County of Gloucester Spinster, deceased, and mode out his Claim to four Shares N^os 193, 194, 158 & 159 in the Stroudwater Navigation the property of the said Hannah Beale, by producing the probate of the Will of the said Hannah Beale bearing date the first day of June in the Year of our Lord Once Thousand Eight Hundred & fourteen and duly proved in the prerogative Court of the ArchBishop of Canterbury the 16^th day of September in the Year of our Lord 1819, whereby it appears that the said WIll^m Beale is the sole Executor thereof, and his Claim is hereby admitted.
Ordered that the towing path be stopped during the next neap tide, so that it shall not be used by the public, & that the same be _advertised in the Gloucester Journal._
