Summary

The gates of Whitminster Lock be repaired.
The wharfingers at each of the Company wharfs are to weigh the coals to all persons desirous of having them weighed, at the price of 6d per ton. Coals sold by the cwt can be weighed free of charge. Notice of this to be fixed to boards at each wharf.

At a Special Meeting of the Committee of Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 16^th day of May 1821
Present: D^r Darke, M^r Eycott, M^r Jones, M^r Holbrow, M^r Snowden.
Read the minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that in consequence of the report of Our Carpenter (Samuel Hanman) the Gates at the Lock at Whitminster be immediately put in a secure state of repair. Ordered that the Wharfingers at each of the Companys Wharfs do weigh the Coals of all Persons who are desirous of having them weighed, at the price of six pence per Ton, & that all Coals sold by the Cwt be weighed to Persons desirous of having them weighed without charge.
Ordered that notice of the above regulation be affixed to Boards at each Wharf.
