Special Meeting. Mr Croome reported that Mr McIntosh is unable to undertake the office of engineer, and he had no reply from Mr Walker; Mr Snowden had seen Mr Sturge and recommend his appointment.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Monday the 17^th day of Januarl 1825
Present: D^r Darke, M^r Stanton, M^r Grazebrook, M^r Fisher, M^r Jones, M^r Holbrow.
M^r Croome Sol^r having reported that M^r M^cIntosh is unable to undertake the office of Engineer, and that he has rece'd no reply to his application addressed to M^r Walker on the same subject; also that M^r Snowden had seem M^r Sturge, and recommend his appointment:-
Ordered that this meeting be adjourned to Monday 24^th inst^t at 1 o'clock.
