Summary

Annual inspection on board a Barge.
Ann Sharpe claimed shares nos.37,38, Mary Sharpe claimed shares nos.40,47 and Charles Thomas Sharpe claimed share no.36, will of Mary Sharpe.
A stable about the size of twelve feet by ten feet to be erected at the Dudbridge wharf.
The walls of the Double Lock to be pointed.
The brickwork of the top lock of the five locks to be repaired and pointed.
The lower lock of the five locks be repaired viz: the North wall taken down and rebuilt and the south walls cased, and that there be put up one new pair of lower lock gates.
The rent of the cottage lately built at Chippenham Platt in the occupation of Browning be fixed at £8 per annum.
A letter from Mr Disney, Chairman of the Thames & Severn Canal Company, requesting the adoption of a horse towing path along the line of the Navigation to be acknowledged and referred to the next General Assembly.
The bridge above the Bristol Road be pointed and a new pair of lower lock gates put in at the Bristol Road Lock.
The bridge leading to Whitminster above Lockham Bridge to be pointed.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on board a Barge on Tuesay the 5^th day of July 1825
Present: M^r Grazebrook, M^r Jones, M^r Stanton, M^r Fisher, M^r Holbrow, D^r Darke, M^r Jn^o Holbrow, M^r Geo Waten.
M^r George Hawker attended on the part of Ann Sharpe and Mary Sharpe, daughters of Mary Sharpe late of Crown Court in the parish of S^t James, Westminster, deceased, and made claim for each of them to two Shares in the Stroudwater Navigation (late the property of the said Mary Sharpe deceased) under the Will of the said Mary Sharpe deceased bearing date the tenth day of March 1818 and proved in the prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 12^th day of April 1825, whereby two shared in the said Navigation were bequeathed to each of them the said Ann Sharpe and Mary Sharpe, the daughters. And the said M^r George Hawker at the same time produced the probate of the said Will, and also a direction in writing under the hand of Charles Thomas Sharpe the Executor of the said Mary Sharpe deceased (who proved the said Will) that the Canal Shares, N^o 37 & 38, (late the property of the said Mary Sharpe deceased) should be registered in the name of the said Ann Sharpe, and that the Shares N^o 40 & 47, (late also the property of the said Mary Sharpe deceased) should be registered in the name of the said Mary Sharpe, the daughter; And therefore the Claim of the said Ann Sharpe to the said Shares N^o 37 & 39 and the claim of the said Mary Sharpe, the daughter, to the said Shares N^ 40 & 47 respectively, are hereby allowed accordingly. And the said M^r George Hawker also made claim, on the part of the said Charles Thomas Sharpe, the Executor, who proved the said Will of the said Mary Sharpe deceased, to the Share in the Stroudwater Navigation, N^o 36, as such Executor as aforesaid, and the said Claim is allowed accordingly.
Ordered that a stable, about the size (in the clear) of twelve foot by ten feet be erected at Dudbridge Wharf.
That the Walls of the double Lock be pointed.
That the Brickwork of the top Lock of the five locks be repaired and pointed.
That the lower Lock of the _Five Locks_ be repaired:- viz: the North wall taken down and rebuilt, and the south wall cased in and that then be put up a new pair of Lower Lock Gates.
That the Rent of the Cottage lately built at Chippenham Platt, in the occupation of --- Browning, be fixed at the Sum of Eight Pounds per Annum.
A letter produces, addressed by M^r Disney, Chairman of the Thames & Severn Canal Company, requesting the adoption of a Horse Towing Path along the line of the Navigation:-
Ordered that the Chairman do acknowledge the receipt thereof, & say that the same shall be referred to teh next Gen^l Assembly.
Ordered that the Bridge above Bristol Road be pointed.
That a new pair of Lower Lock Gates be put in at the Lock at Bristol Road.
That the Bridge (leading to Whitminster) above Lockham Bridge be pointed.
