Paul Hawkins Fisher claimed share no.116, will of Benjamin Fisher.
The bill of Mr Croome, solicitor, in opposing the Bill for a Tram Road amounting to £1285 to be immediately discharged, and that he is to be presented with £50 over and above the bill.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 13^th day of September 1825
Present: M^r Holbrow, M^r Fisher, M^r John Holbrow, M^r Stanton, M^r Jones, M^r Eycott, M^r Grazebrook, D^r Darke.
Examined the Books and accounts of the Company,.
M^r Paul Hawkins Fisher attended and made a claim (as acting Surviving Executor of Benjamin Fisher late of Stroud) to the Share N^o 116 in the Stroudwater Navigation, late the property of the said Benjamin Fisher; - producing the probate of the Will of the said Benjamin Fisher bearing date the 20^th day of August 1818 and two Codicils thereto, by which probate administration of the Goods and Chattels of the said Benjamin Fisher was granted to the said Paul Hawkins Fisher by the prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury July 12^th 1825 and his Claim is hereby allowed accordingly.
The Committee having perused the Bill of M^r Croome Solicitor, in approving the Bill for a Tram Road (amounting to £1285, and being fully satisfied with his zealous services; - Ordered that his Bill be immediately discharges and that he be presented with £50 over and above the amount of his Bill.
