At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 16 day of September 1828
Present: Thomas Holbrow, Joseph Grazebrook, Nathaniel Jones, Paul Hawkins Fisher, Samuel Fisher.
M^r George Hawker appeared on behalf of Anne James, Widow, the Relict of the Reverend William James late of Painswick in the County of Gloucester, deceased, and made claim for her, the said Anne James, (as Administratrix of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said William James) to two shares (Numbers 41 and 50) in the Stroudwater Navigation standing in the name of the said William James by producing the Letters of Administration granted to the said Anne James by the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the twenty Eighth day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and twenty five - to administer the said Goods Chattels and Credits - and the Claim of the said Anne Jones is allowed accordingly.
