Half Yearly General Meeting. Tonnage £3080 2s 7d. Balance after wages, etc, £2282 6s 10d. Dividend of £11 declared.
Tonnage on timber carried to be raised from 1 June to 3s6d a ton.
At a General half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn Stroud on Wednesday the 28^th day of April 1830

The minutes of the last General Meeting were read and confirmed.
The several Books and Accounts were produced respecting the affairs of the Company (as directed by Act of Parliament) and were examined and confirmed.
It appears by the accounts that the Sum of £3080..2..7 has been received for Tonnage, Etc, from the 16^th day of October 1829 to the 16^th day of April 1830 a part of which has been applied towards the payment of wages disbursments, etc, and that there remains in the Treasurers Hands (after paying the last dividend) the sum of £2282..6..10.
Ordered that a dividend of Eleven Pound^s be paid on each Share by the Treasurer on the first day of May next and that our Clerk do transmit circular Letters to all the Proprietors to inform them that they may draw upon the Treasurer or apply to him for payment of the same.
The following Gentlemen are appointed a Committee for the ensuing Year, Viz:
M^r Stanton, M^r Morgan, M^r P H Fisher, M^r Snowden, M^r S Fisher, M^r Wathen, M^r Grazebrook, M^r Wyatt, M^r J Holbrow, D^r Darke, M^r N Jones, M^r T C Croome, M^R Charles Stanton.
Ordered that from and after the 1^st day of June next the Tonnage on Timber carried on this Canal be raised and that on & from that day there be charged for the same after the rate of 3^s/6^d for each & every Ton, & so proportionably for any less quantity upon the whole line of the Canal; and so proportionably for any less distance.
