Richard Hawker claimed shares no.46,186, will of Mr Hawker.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 19^th day of Octover 1830
Present: M^r Holbrow, M^r S Fisher, M^r Wyatt, D^r Darke, M^r Croome, M^r Grazebrook, M^r P H Fisher.
Examined the Books & accounts of the Company.
Geo Hawker attended on behalf of Richard Hawker of Dudbridge in the County of Gloucester Esquire and made out His Claim to two Shares N^os 46 & 186 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the property of his Father Jn^o Hawker late of Dudbridge aforesaid Esq^r deceased, by producing the probate of the Will of the said John Hawker dated the 7^th day of December 1821 And proved by the said Richard Hawker in the prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 15^th day of February 1827.
Whereby it appears that the said Shares are bequeathed to Him the said Richard Hawker and that the said John Hawker deceased appointed the said Rich^d Hawker sole Executor of His said Will.
