Summary

Mr Holbrow to confer with Capt Clegram about the employment of an engineer.
Ordered that the fence across Ryeford wharf be moved to enclose the whole of it.
Instead of charging for each towing boat passing out of the canal at Framilode, ordered that 20 pence be charged for each lock of water used for that purpose.

At a Special Meeting of the Committee held at the Canal Office Walbridge on Friday the 7^th Day of May 1841
Present: M^r Cosham, M^r Wyatt, M^r P H Fisher, M^r Jos Fisher, M^r Hughes, M^r Holbrow, M^r Croome, M^r Beard, M^r Wathen, M^r Martin.
Resolved that in relation to the Resolution at the last General Meeting as to the employment of an Engineer, that M^r Holbrow be requested to confer with Capt^n Clegram thereon.
Ordered that the present Fence inclosing part of the Ryeford Wharf be removed & a new Fence made across the top of the Wharf so as to inclose the whole of it.
[Deleted text reads: Ordered that twenty pence be paid for passing the Lower Lack into the Severn.]
Towing boats, the Sum of 20^d as usual shall be paid.
Ordered that the Committee do meet at Eight O'Clock in the Morning of the 24^th of June next at Walbridge to go and survey the Canal.
Ordered that instead of charging for each Towing boat passing out of the Canal into the Severn at Framilode lock as heretofore - The Sum of Twenty pence shall in future be charged on each Lock of Water used for that purpose, without regard to the number of such boats, which shall pass by each lock of Water.
