Adjourned Meeting. Proposal that Messrs Croome and Harris to watch South Wales Railway Bill before Parliament was rejected by 6 to 2. Solicitor to negotiate with South Wales Railway Co. or agents for introducing necessary clauses.

Present: M^r G H A Beard, Dan Wattts, Jn^o H Warman, Jn^o Holbrow, Will^m Fryer Chairman, Fred^k Eycott, H^y Wyatt, Jn^o W^m Wood, Geo Wathen.
Proposed by M^r Wood and seconded by M^r Eycott,
That in any legal Assistance which may be thought necessary in watching the South Wales Railway Bill before either of the Houses of Parliament during the present Session, Mess^rs Croome and Harris be requested to act for that purpose.
Upon a Shew of Hands the proposition was negatived by a Majority of 6 to 2.
Ordered that our Solicitor do take immediate Steps to negociate with the South Wales Railway Company or their Agents for the introduction of the necessary Clauses.
