Mr Kearsey reported that a scheme under The Railway Company’s 1867 Act relating to the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company, which he considered might affect the position in respect of their judgment debt of £1060 and interest. The case and opinion was read. Resolved that this Company approve Mr Kearsey entering an appearance on the hearing of the schemes.

The various accounts books and vouchers signed by M^r W Coley the Auditor and certified as correct were produced examined and.
The Treasurers book was produced examined and signed.
M^r Kearsey the Solicitor of the Company reported that his attention having been called to a Scheme of Arrangement under "the Railway Companies Act 1867" relating to the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company which he considered might affect the position of this Company in respect of their Judgement debt of £1000 & interest, he had taken the opinion of Counsel on the matter & as to whether it was necessary or desirable for this Coy to interfere, The Case & opinion was read. Resolved that this Company approved the course taken by M^r Kearsey & authorise him to enter an appearance for these & to appear by Counsel on the hearing of the Scheme as advised by the opinion, in order that this Companys interests be protected.
