Applications for the situation of Clerk (109 in number) have been gone through and six have been selected as being most likely: Mr A Glass, Mr Brackenbury, W J Snape, H Good, Joseph Hill, J Bourne.
Mr Brackenbury was seen and the Chairman was to write in the first instance to Mr Glass and Mr Snape and ask them to attend a further meeting of the Committee to be held on 4 April.

M^r Brakenbury was seen and the Chairman was to write in the first instance to M^r Glass and M^r Snape and ask them to attend a further Meeting of the Committee to be held on Thursday the 4^th of April next at ½ past 12 and inform them that the expences of the journies of the Candidates not selected would be paid.
The General Half Yearly Meeting to be held on Thursday the 25^th day of April at 1 o'clock.
