The seal of the company affixed to the agreement for the tenancy of the house at Downfield to be occupied by John Bishop.
The house, outhouse, garden and wharf at Eastington be let to Mr Zachaus Whiting of Chalford from the 29 September at the annual rent of £10, the rent to be paid quarterly and the tenancy to be determinable on three months’ notice on either side to expire at Lady Day, Midsummer or Michaelmas in the first or subsequent years. The Company to keep in tenenable repair the roofs and outside of the house and outhouse, and the tenant to keep in such repair all besides the roof and outside of the house and outhouse.
Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Thursday the 18^th day of September 1873 at 12,o,clock noon
Present: M^r G H A Beard Chairman, M^r J C Halliwell, M^r T Marling, M^r T M Croome, M^r W J Stanton, M^r J T Fisher, M^r W W Kearsey, M^r S Phipps.
[45] Ordered that the Half yearly Meeting be held on Thursday the 23^rd Day of October next, at 1,o,clock pm and the Committee Meeting on the same say at 12,o,clock noon and that the Clerk advertise the same.
[33] Ordered the the Seal of the Company be affixed to the agreement for the Tenancy of the house at Downfield ( see min 21st Augt 1873) to be occupied by Mr John Bishop.
[30] Resolved that the house, outhouse, garden & wharf at Eastington be let to Mr Zaccheas Whiting of Chalford from the 29^th day of September inst at the annual rent of £10.
The rent to be payable Quarterly, and the tenancy to be determinable on three months notice on either side to expire at Christmas, Ladyday, Midsummer, or Michaelmas in the first and any subsequent years.
The Company to keep in tenantable repair the roofs and outside of the house and outhouse, and the tenant to keep in such repair all besides the roof and outside of the house and outhouse.
The above resolution was read over & approved by Mr Z Whiting who attended the Meeting, and the Clerk was directed to send him a copy of the same.
